E-CRM




Customer What are the importance of E-CRM.. Well the question is amazing. I can see that the trend for online marketing is increasing the importance of e-CRM continue to grow. The organizations started to practice e-crm very effectively these days because they know customers are connected to internet 24 hours. I have identified following e-CRM activities currently practiced by organization.

1 – Database marketing
2 – Loyalty Marketing
3- Social Media marketing
4 – E-Mail Marketing

In order to practice e-CRM the organization should follow these steps

Identify the potential customers – Organization need to identity the profitable and potential customers are the regular users or buyers, can they be able to get a positive word of mouth about the organization, the volume of purchase by them.

Web strategy – The best e-CRM starts with well designed web site. The web site should give relevant information to the visitors, it has to be frequently updated, no down times, quick loading will help the visitors to engage with the web site.

Information gathering and handling – Organization need to be able to develop better databease. This should consider targeting, controlling, continuity, and interaction. Just a database won’t help the organization; it has to do the data mining as well to identify the life style, purchase behavior of people.

Continuous communication – By using data base it has to communicate with the customers directly. Better to consider opt-in email marketing.

Loyalty building- Developing a suitable loyalty program is the key in every industry.
